AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed)
AWANA is a nondenominational youth ministry whose goal is to reach boys and girls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ and train them to serve Him in accordance with II Timothy 2:15. The program can be found in 13,000 churches in 110 countries around the world. AWANA consists of a fun mixture of scripture memorization, council time/singing, and the ever popular game time. If your desire is to ground your child in a knowledge of the scriptures, check out AWANA. For a complete description of the AWANA program, please visit the official AWANA website.
Youth, beginning as young as age three through high school, are represented in the AWANA program at Community Bible Church. AWANA will begin at Community Bible on Wednesday, September 15, 2010 and continue on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. through the month of April. Children throughout the community are welcome to attend. For more information, contact Community Bible Church at 224-6730.
