2010 Women's Christmas Dinner!
On Monday, December 6 the annual women's Christmas dinner was held in the FLC followed by a program in the sanctuary with Penny Unruh as the guest speaker. A wonderful meal was served by incredibly good-looking guys not to be outdone by great-looking place settings on the tables. Don't believe it? -- here are the pictures to prove it! It was a delightful evening of dining and sharing during and after the meal. Thank you to everyone involved in the planning, preparing, serving and participating! It was a blessed and fun event.
Outrageous Joy!
The Mother's Day Tea was held on Saturday, May
9th. There were wonderful spring time decorations and superb
salads for all to enjoy. The theme for the event was
"Outrageous Joy". Joan Hofer shared antecdotes from children
that were enjoyed by all. Denette Becker was the main speaker
for the event. She shared some wonderful ideas on joy and
contentment. She shared the quotes below...

Our circumstances seldom generate smiles and laugher. Joy comes to those who determine to pursue it in spite of their circumstance.
  
A Father/Daughter Date night was held in March. The dads and their daughters were treated to a pancake supper and lots of fun!
