Be PASSIONATELY UNASHAMED and BOLD for Christ, humbly WALKING according to His ways, bearing FRUIT in their lives, compassionately SERVING, and GROWING in their JOY, LOVE and KNOWLEDGE of Him
(Rom.1:16, Col. 1:9-10, 1 Tim. 4:12)
Youth are meant to KNOW the One who created them and to seek His purpose in their life. God LONGS for their heart – every perfection and imperfection,
every scar and joy, every inch of it.
And their heart longs and hopes for God – it hungers for His Word. We believe that our heart can only be satisfied in God and when it is, we are SOLD OUT for God.
We want the Youth to know Jesus and to glorify Him
in all they do. We will assist and guide them to genuinely know God and experience His love.
Our purpose is to create a culture where Youth are PASSIONATELY UNASHAMED for Christ.
We want to partner with you. You are the primary spiritual leader of your children. Our hope is to support our youth with Biblical teaching, events, and fellowships and we believe this will help with your child’s spiritual growth.
We utilize monthly meetings, weekly emails, a Facebook discussion group, and weekly open office hours so that we are constantly and effectively in communication with you!
So let's join together and see God work in your youth's life!
Here's what's going on with Unashamed Youth:
During the school year, we meet every Sunday night from 6-8p.
Our Sunday School is focused on Bible Study and practically applying it to our lives (learn more here) and AWANA is focused on internalizing verses of the Bible and equipping us to share the Good News of Christ (learn more here).
Sunday night, then, is the time we come together to focus on our relationship with God and His relationship with us. Both Junior and Senior High combine during this time to learn from and grow with each other.
We do this in a few ways:
This is a time for students to connect with God. Worship
touches heart, mind, and soul - it is the complete overflowing who they know God to be and the truths they learn during their Bible study. Worship is essential to a thriving youth ministry and so we place prominence on this every Sunday night.
After worship, we enter into a time of Bible Study that focuses on guiding the student's growing knowledge of and relationship with God. We want to help them build a foundation for sustained growth past the youth ministry and equip them to share their faith and the Gospel with their peers.
Pastors, Elders, Adult Leaders, and Student Leaders all assist in leading these devotions together.
After our devotion, we break up into smaller groups to dive deeper into what we just learned or into a topic with which the students are dealing. Anxiety, depression, bullying, and what to do after graduation are just a few things that are pressuring our students. This is a time to ask questions in a safe and non-judgmental place.
Depending on topic, we break into age and gender appropriate groups
After Real Talk, we enjoy a snack and play a game together. In other words, we eat delicious food, have fun, and grow relationships through a little competition.
This winds down a little after 8p depending on parent pick-ups.
The CBC Youth Ministry does not stay within the walls of the church. We embrace the word by learning, living and sharing in our homes, our church, our schools, our community and our world. Presenting the Gospel of Jesus Christ in our everyday lives is essential to our walk with God.
We host a variety of other events and ministries through our Youth Ministry.
We always have something going on that
the Youth can do - Prayer Breakfasts, Saturday Serve, Bi-monthly events, Missions, and more!

We have an amazing team of leaders who have come together to invest in and impact our youth!
Lead by Pastor Jesse Sternke and
Education Director Jenn Oedekoven, we work to partner with parents and guide the youth
as they grow in their faith and knowledge of God.

Community Bible Church encourages all students to be Christ followers, worshipers, and lovers of God’s Word. Through biblical, practical teaching and creative series topics, we help students grow, equip them with the truth, and give them opportunities to share it.
Our doors are ALWAYS open, and we are passionate about pointing students to Christ and equipping them to share the gospel with friends.
Our goal here at Community Bible Church Youth Group is to know God and make Him known!
