Here at Community Bible Church, we are passionate about the Gospel and the Word of God. There is great joy in discovering what God has revealed to us and pursuing a life of discipleship to His Word.

Our doors are open to everyone wherever they may find themselves in life. We are a Bible-believing congregation close to the edge of Pierre and we would love to invite you to visit our family. We have something for everyone with multi-age ministries, blended worship, and multiple service and mission opportunities. Together, we can transform the world with the radical Truth of Jesus as found in The Word - one life at a time!

Parking
We have a large parking lot wrapping around the church. You can park in front of the gym; or alongside the church on the concrete (blue area); or on the gravel (brown area) that wraps around the back of the church ("G" is general parking).
Visitor Parking
We encourage you to park at the corner of gym (see the green "V" in the map below) and make your way into the door of the Sanctuary.
Handicap Parking
Handicap parking ("H") is available throughout the area. The best places to park are at the gym entrance and make your way to sanctuary or near the church office door.

Lobby
Our church lobby provides first connections for visitors, as well as opportunities for congregants to gather and engage. You will find the coat room, Welcome Center, and greeters.

Nursery
Nursery is provided for infant through 3 years during all three services:
1st service 8:25 – end of service
During Sunday School 9:50 – end of class
2nd service 10:50 – end of service
Nursing mothers are invited to use the Cry Room next to the coffee area.
Coffee Bar Social Area
Before or after services stop by, grab a cup of coffee and a chair and visit with us in the coffee social area.

Worship Schedule and Format
Services are Sundays @ 8:30AM & 11:00AM
Sunday School is between services @ 10:00 AM
Our two morning services are identical with worship lead by Associate Pastor Jesse Sternke and our worship team. It is a mix of contemporary and gospel music, and traditional hymns, with our focus being on exalting the Lord together.
Every week, an offering is received. As a visitor, don't feel pressured to give an offering! You are our guest! On the 1st Sunday of each month, we celebrate the Lord's Supper. Whatever church you go to, if you profess faith in Christ, you are welcome to participate with us.

Our teaching pastors are Senior Pastor Chance Sumner, and Associate Pastor Jesse Sternke. They typically lead us through an expository study of a book or section of the Bible, and are able to explain and apply God's Word to our lives in a meaningful way. Occasionally, we also have guest speakers to teach or share about their ministry.

Bibles are provided in the pew racks and bulletins are handed out as you enter the sanctuary.

After each service you have an opportunity visit with one of our elders in the prayer room in the back of the sanctuary.

How To Dress
While we have a wide range of people who wear anything from jeans to full suits to traditional attire, please wear what helps you think more about Jesus and less about yourself – and what will help others do the same. In other words, it is important to wear clothes that indicate a level of respect for ourselves and others. That is true in church, at home, at work... Everything should point to Jesus.
